In 2001, Marymoor Museum and Bellevue Historical Society participated in a collaborative web-based project with ten other King County historical organizations, promoting public access to a comprehensive collection of 12,000 historic images and metadata.
As a result of this project, approximately 800 images from the Eastside Heritage Center's collection of historic photographs are accessible online. This visual history of the people, activities, commerce, and industries east of Lake Washington from the 1880s to the present concentrates on the areas of Redmond, Bellevue, and Kirkland, and their development over time.
